Thornton Exits Bravo, Starts New Firm

BOISE, ID (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Paul Thornton has left Bravo Entertainment, a company that he helped to found, in order to start a new firm, TAG Productions.

Thornton's new firm will focus on promoting sports and music festivals, including the Honda Ski Tour & Jeep King of the Mountain Winter and Summer events. Paul will also be looking for opportunities to expand into additional properties and even an occasional one-off event here and there.

After selling his share in Bravo and helping the Knitting Factory put a management team in place, Paul was looking for something new.

"I was working on a transition role with the company on an employment contract basis, and when the opportunity came up to take over the accounts of the Ski Tour and Jeep King of the Mountain i was really excited to do this, so i worked out an arrangement with the new owners of Bravo so that i could get out of my employment contract early. I really love to be in the creative role of creating properties, and after 15 years of running Bravo and the Big Easy clubs, this seemed like a really exciting new challenge that i was really looking for." Thornton told CelebrityAccess.

"The exciting thing about the events i will be doing now is that we have the opportunity to not just put on events, but literally create a whole mountain culture community that spreads over the whole year, and not just a few events. We have the chance to really capture and brand that feeling of escaping to the mountains, slowing down the clocks, and just living the life even for a weekend that people visualize when sitting at work in the city." he added. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
