The Firm Buys Integrated Entertainment Partners

(CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Talent management powerhouse The Firm has purchased Integrated Entertainment Partners, the year-old entertainment and branding company founded last year by former Walt Disney Studios Chairman and Comcast C3 Chairman Rich Frank. Frank will join The Firm as chairman of the board. The Firm's founder and CEO, Jeff Kwatinetz, will remain in that role; he and partner Rick Yorn (film and television division) will also serve as co-chairman. Julie Yorn will continue to head up Firm Films. Mitch Kanner, a principal in IEP, will join The Firm and oversee its brand division, and Christopher Gebhardt will join as a marketing executive. Financial terms were not disclosed.

"Rich’s leadership ability and talent for broad strategic thinking has been well documented," said Kwatinetz and Yorn in a joint statement. "The ability to tap into Rich’s superior experience and his keen understanding of the international entertainment marketplace will prove to be an incredible asset as The Firm continues to evolve into a global media company. We enthusiastically welcome him to our team."

Among The Firm’s music clients are the Dixie Chicks, KoRn, Limp Bizkit, Linkin Park, Michelle Branch and Enrique Iglesias; on the film and television side are Adrien Brody, Benecio Del Toro, Dustin Hoffman, Carmen Diaz and Martin Scorsese. –Jane Cohen and Bob Gossweiner
