Sulkes Named GM Of Liacouras Center, Philadelphia

Neil Sulkes has been named regional vice president and general manager of the Liacouras Center on the campus of Temple University in Philadelphia by Global Spectrum. The Liacouras Center is a 10,000-seat, state-of-the-art arena. The Liacouras Center fills a much-needed niche in the Philadelphia market for a major, mid-sized venue that can accommodate audiences ranging from 1,000 to 11,000. The facility is the largest indoor, public assembly venue ever north of City Hall in Philadelphia. Formerly known as the Apollo of Temple, the venue was renamed and dedicated to Temple University President Peter J. Liacouras on February 13, 2000.

Sulkes was previously president of Manhattan Center Studios, the site of Hammerstein Ballroom.
