(CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — The stagehands of the International Association of Theatre and Stage Employees (IATSE)union agreed not to picket the opening of the new Hard Rock Cafe in Cleveland at the invitation-only grand opening on November 28. The union wanted to represent five or six production workers at the venue.
Union officials met on November 27 with Common Pleas Court Judge Timothy J. McGinty; John Ryan, executive secretary of the Cleveland AFL-CIO Federation of Labor; House of Blues management and their attorney, Mike Buck; and Craig Thomas, representing Mayor Jane Campbell, according to the Plain Dealer.
