Shaobo Qin Makes Hollywood Debut

Shaobo Qin, a member of the internationally acclaimed Peking Acrobats made his motion picture debut in the Warner Brothers action film, Ocean's Eleven. A remake of the 1960 Rat Pack classic, the film features an all-star cast (George Clooney, Julia Roberts, Brad Pitt, Carl Reiner, Elliot Gould, and others) portraying a gang of unlikely associates who stage a heist of three major Las Vegas casinos. Shaobo was rehearsing the Peking Acrobats' famous "Double-Pole Act" when spotted by Oscar-winning director Steven Soderbergh, who immediately offered him the movie's role of Yen.

The Peking Acrobats return to the United States January – April 2002 for their 16th consecutive national tour since 1986.
