WELLINGTON, NZ (CelebrityAccess) — Rock legends AC/DC were forced off stage by high winds and sound issues just two songs into their set during their December 12th show at Westpac Stadium in Wellington, New Zealand.
The band was on hiatus for about 30 minutes while approximately 30,000 fans waited in the wind and rain, according to the New Zealand Herald.
Local promoter Sandra Roberts reported that the inclement weather caused some technical issues at the stadium.
"There's high wind driving rain into the stadium so a bit of water has got into some of the electrical equipment," Roberts told the New Zealand Herald.
The band is touring behind their 16th studio album "Rock Or Bust", which debuted at #3 on the Billboard album chart in December, 2014. – Staff Writers
