BLOOMINGTON, MN (CelebrityAccess) — Scott Weiland, best known as the frontman for Stone Temple Pilots’, death in Minnesota, the first week in December, has officially had his death declared a drug overdose.

According to The Hennepin County Medical Examiner's Office, the 48-year-old rocker died of a lethal combination of cocaine, alcohol and the amphetamine MDA, street names Molly, or Ecstasy.
