Ruling Upheld In Dismissed Clear Channel Billboard Lawsuit

(CelebrityAccess MediaWire) – The dismissal of lawsuit to prevent Clear Channel from advertising with a series of billboards on Baltimore’s 1st Mariner Arena was upheld by a Maryland appeals court on December 27th. The 2003 circuit court ruling that the state courts did not have the jurisdiction to decide the case was affirmed by the Maryland Court of Special Appeals.

The suit was brought against Clear Channel Outdoor and First Mariner Bancorp Chairman Ed Hale by a group of Baltimore area property owners displeased with a zoning change that allowed fourteen billboards to be displayed along the side of the stadium.
