Royal Oak Music Theatre Under New Management

Royal Oak, MI (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) – The historic Royal Oak Music Theatre, built in 1927 for silent movie viewing, has been released to new management as of Monday, April 19, 2004. Worldwide Entertainment ROMT, LLC, has plans to bring a variety of entertainment products to the theatre, now home to various live entertainment events ranging from Classic Rock concerts to hip new Comedy acts.

Worldwide Entertainment ROMT, LLC has acquired the popular Detroit venue from previous management in hopes of breathing new life into the facility. Jack Utsick Presents, a division of Worldwide Entertainment, had previously booked acts in the venue such as Melissa Etheridge, Duran Duran, George Clinton, Mike Epps, Ben Kweller and Death Cab for Cutie, Great Big Sea and many more. At a capacity of 1,700 seats, the new owners, after acquiring the managing rights and lease term on the building, plan on bringing all types of entertainment into this premier Detroit venue.
