Rock Party To Organize New Event

Rock Party, the organization behind Sweden's largest festival Hultsfredsfestivalen, is to arrange a new event under the name ROOKIE. The event will take place between November 2 – 3, and will be an opportunity for unestablished artists, bands and DJ's to meet representatives from the music business, established artists, and each other.

Patrik Axelsson, Rock Party's chairman, said that there has been a lack of concrete opportunities to guide young talent into the music business, and we hope to change this with ROOKIE.

Rookie will be held at Rock City (previously Metropol). Seminars will take place during the daytime which will be followed by live performances from approximately 40 artists during the evenings.
