LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — The We Are Family Foundation announced that veteran agent and CAA’s head of music Rob Light has joined the organization’s board of directors.

We Are Family Foundation is a not-for-profit organization founded by legendary musician Nile Rodgers in the wake of the 9/11 terror attacks in 2001 with the goal of promoting diversity and mentoring young people who are positively changing the world.

Light is a graduate of Syracuse University’s Newhouse School of Communication with a degree in Film and Television. Married, with five children, he serves on the Board of Trustees for Syracuse University and is a board member for The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, and City of Hope Cancer Research Hospital, Communities in Schools, and The Tiger Woods Foundation.
