LAS VEGAS, NV (CelebrityAccess) – Comedian Rita Rudner and veteran casino entertainment executive Mark Prows will be among the honorees at the fifth annual Casino Entertainment Awards when it takes place at the Vinyl showroom at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino on October 4th.
Rudner will be presented with a Casino Entertainment Legend Award during the awards ceremony. Rudner holds the record for the longest running solo comedy show in Las Vegas history and over the course of its 15-year-run, Rudner sold almost two million tickets and grossed more than $100 Million.
Veteran casino entertainment executive Mark Prows, Senior Vice President, Entertainment Operations, MGM Resorts International, also will be honored with a Casino Entertainment Legend Award. Prows began his entertainment career in 1982 at University of Wyoming and has since worked in a wide variety of markets and venues, while progressing from frontline positions to senior management. He moved back to Las Vegas when MGM opened in 1993 and has held senior roles ever since.
Casino Entertainment Awards also will be presented to artists, executives and venues in eight categories of casino entertainment. CEA finalist nominees, selected from more than 1,000 online nominations, include:

The Casino Entertainment Awards are a part of The Global Gaming Expo (G2), conference and exhibition presented by the American Gaming Association (AGA). The annual conference will be held this year from October 3rd to October 5th at Sands Expo in Las Vegas.
