REYKJAVÍK, Iceland (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Reykjavik concert and conference centre, while still under construction, held a competition to name the new venue. Well, the final tally is in and the centre will be named Harpa, Visir.is reported.
The competition, which began in February, drew 4,166 entries with suggestions for names and Harpa won with 54 votes. Surprisingly, Harpa means harp in Icelandic, and it is also a popular girls name and one of the Viking Months in the spring. –by CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
