Revised UK Ruling On LNTM Merger Expected As Early As Next Week

LONDON (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — The UK Competition Commission is scheduled to publish their second, revised antitrust ruling on the Live Nation/Ticketmaster merger as early as next week.

UK regulators had first signed off on the deal in December, however a tribunal ordered the Competition Commission to revisit the ruling after Live Nation's pre-merger ticketing partner CTS Eventim appealed the decision, claiming they had not been properly consulted in the matter.

It is unclear how an unfavorable ruling would affect Live Nation Entertainment as the company has already been operating as a merged entity since January.
