Rage, Daft Punk Set To Headline Vegoose


LAS VEGAS (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Newly reformed political rockers Rage Against the Machine and French electronic dance duo Daft Punk will headline this year’s Vegoose Festival at Las Vegas’ Sam Boyd Stadium during the weekend of October 27-28.

Other acts slated to hit the stage at the pre-Halloween festival include Queens of the Stone Age, the Shins, Muse and Iggy and the Stooges. The Stooges have announced that they will perform their classic album “Fun House” in its entirety.

The Vegoose line-up also includes Cypress Hill, Public Enemy, Ghostface Killah, Michael Franti & Spearhead, Battles, Umphree’s McGee, UNKLE, Gogol Bordello, Blonde Redhead, Thievery Corporation and Ghostland Observatory.

The A.C. Entertainment and Superfly Presents-organized festival will again include its celebrated Vegoose At Night series as well, with featured shows at clubs around Las Vegas throughout the weekend. Performers set to play the intimate gigs include the Shins, Thievery Corporation, moe. and Sound Tribe Sector 9.

Two-day passes for the main festival go on sale Saturday, July 28 through Vegoose.com. Tickets for the Vegoose At Night series will go on sale in mid-August. –by CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
