Radiohead Frontman Announces New Solo Single

LONDON (VIP NEWS) — Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke has announced the release of his new solo single on the band's website.

Two songs will be released on 21 September as a limited-edition 12-inch vinyl single, which will also be available on the band's website.

Fans who purchase the record will also receive a free digital download of the two new songs – The Hollow Earth and FeelingPulledApartbyHorses.

Billboard Magazine said Yorke may play live dates to support the new tracks.

The 40-year-old played a rare solo acoustic set in July to kick off the last day of the Latitude Festival in Suffolk.

FeelingPulledApartbyHorses is a "radical rework of an old tune that's been kicking around without a home since 2001", Yorke wrote in his website message. The new version is performed by the singer and Radiohead guitarist Jonny Greenwood.

The Hollow Earth was originally recorded during sessions for Yorke's 2006 solo album The Eraser.

Following their vinyl release, the two new songs will be made available as regular paid downloads "through the usual channels" in early October, Yorke added. –According to BBC
