MORRISTOWN, NJ (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — According to TMZ, ( http://www.tmz.com/2012/12/22/nas-angola-kidnapping-hostage-concert-promoter-lawsuit/) the concert promoter, who claims he was taken at gunpoint for a hostage and held for ransom because the recording artist failed to appear at two New Year's concerts in the African nation, is suing the rapper for $10 million.

As TMZ first reported, ‘Patrick Allocco says he was kidnapped December 2011 in Angola because Nas failed to show up for a New Year's Eve concert after taking a $300,000 pay day.’

Patrick Allocco claims he was held for ransom until February 2012 by the Angolan Promoters for the cash they were allegedly owed.

In a new federal lawsuit filed Friday, December 21st, Allocco thinks Nas is responsible for what his captor did. He is asking the Artist pay for the 50 days lost to captivity, where he claims to have been threatened and beaten.

Nas is being sued by Allocco for $10 million. Alloco is suing for damages he suffered psychologically, physically and financially. He claims that while stuck in Angola, he was unable to do business … and as a result lost his home and his company according to TMZ, who aslo reached out to Nas, but has not heard back from the performer. –by CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
