Potomac Nationals Look For Naming Rights Partner

WOODBRIDGE, VA (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Front Row Marketing is still in negotiations with a number of interested companies over possible naming rights for the a new stadium that will serve as a home for the minor-league Potomac Nationals.

Front Row was retained by the Potomac Nationals organization to head up the naming rights effort. The income from the naming rights is anticipated to help finance construction of the stadium. The pressure is on though and the deal must be struck by April if it is to be completed by 2009.

Team owner Art Silber told the Manassas Journal Messenger that he was looking for a financially stable company to make a ten-year commitment for $12 million to secure the naming rights.

The team has found some difficulty in funding the new stadium and the county government's continuing budget shortfalls has forced the team to look to alternative methods. The 2007 estimate of the stadium's price came in at approximately $22 million. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
