SWEDEN (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Swedish file sharing group Pirate Bay has once more sallied forth onto the digital main with the re-launch of bittorrent site Suprnova.org.
As of August 21st, the site went back online and is apparently running full bore. The original site, run by a group of Slovenians, went dark in 2004 due to increasing legal pressures from copyright holders. The domain name was reportedly donated to the Pirate Bay team.
In a post on their website, the Swedes issued a ringing challenge:
"Finally, some words for non-internet loving companies: This is how it works. Whatever you sink, we build back up. Whomever you sue, ten new pirates are recruited. Wherever you go, we are already ahead of you. You are the past and the forgotten, we are the internet and the future." – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
