MELBOURNE, Victoria (CelebrityAccess) — A nightclub in Melbourne burned to the ground in a fire on May 22nd that authorities believe may have been deliberately set.
According to the Australian Broadcasting Company, emergency services were called to Club Dakota nightclub at approximately 2:45 AM to find the venue fully engulfed in flames.
It took 45 firefighters with nine fire trucks, including two aerial units and the rescue unit an hour and a half to control the "ferocious" fire.
The club was completely gutted by the fire, which caused more than 1 million ASD in damages to the property. Two adjacent businesses were only slightly damaged.
