Permit Problems At 4th & B In San Diego

SAN DIEGO (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Six different concerts at San Diego concert venue 4th & B have been moved to other venues, apparently because of an expired entertainment permit.

The 1,500 capacity club had to offshore shows by Keyshia Cole, The Black Crowes, The Buffalo Killers to the House of Blues and A Last Comic Standing date was moved to Pala Casino. An October 12th show by Big Head Todd & The Monsters, Collective Soul and Emerson Hart is listed as still a go at 4th & B as is a show on Oct. 13th by The Tragically Hip. A show on Oct. 11th by the Swizz Beats has been canceled.

4th & B promoter Live Nation declined to comment on the moves, beyond stating that it was due to "circumstances beyond our control."

"I can't say anything about that, not yet," 4th & B owner Ali Nilforushan told the Tribune-Union although he added that all shows booked after Oct. 13 would "absolutely” take place at 4th & B as scheduled.

According to a report in the San Diego Union-Tribune, a spokesman for the San Diego Police Department's Vice Unit confirmed that the club's permit had expired and that they were in the process of getting it renewed. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
