Party In The Park Sets A New Record

Party in the Park, one of London's biggest annual music events has broken box office records by selling 100,0000 tickets in just 5 hours and 33 minutes. This beats the Madonna's concerts, which sold 97,000 tickets in 6 hours.

John Giddings, director of Solo, which is producing the event for Capitol Radio, said: "We sold out an hour-and-a-half quicker than last year, even before a line-up has been announced."
