Harry Walker, founder of the speaker's agency that bears his name, died July 27 of complications from surgery. He was 85.

The Harry Walker Agency represents former Presidents Bill Clinton and Gerald R. Ford and numerous other celebrities who earn five- and six-figure fees for each appearance.

















Jazz Singer Roy Kral Dead At 80


Roy Kral, a member of jazz duo, Jackie and Roy, died August 2 of congestive heart failure at his home in Montclair, NJ, according to Jackie Cain, his wife and collaborator for more than half a century. He was 80.

Jackie and Roy recorded nearly 40 albums in 56 years of singing together, producing hits like "Spring Can Really Hang You Up the Most," "You Inspire Me" and "It's a Lovely Day Today." Jackie and Roy performed a blend of pop, jazz and Latin music.




Tejano Musician Santiago 'Jimmy' Garcia Killed In Car Crash


Tejano musician/vocalist Santiago "Jimmy" Garcia, 27, was killed on July 19 in a single-car rollover on a south Texas highway. Garcia lost control and was ejected from his vehicle after it skidded off U.S. 57 onto a grassy shoulder. He was the vocalist/accordion player for the family group Los Garcia.
