Oasis Postpones Two More Dates

Oasis has postponed two more tour dates to allow singer/guitarist Noel Gallagher
recover from injuries suffered in a traffic accident earlier in the week.

"His injuries are more chronic than
originally thought, and is suffering from the effects of whiplash and shock," according to a band spokesperson.

In addition to the postponement of the band's August 7 show in Indianapolis, August 9 at Philadelphia's Tower Theater and August 10 at Boston's Fleet
Pavilion have also been postponed. The tour expects to resume on August 11 at New York's
Roseland Ballroom. Make up dates are expected for the canceled shows.

"A further doctors examination of Noel Gallagher following [Tuesday's] car
accident established that his injuries are more chronic than originally thought,"
said a statement issued by the band. "Noel is suffering from the effects of
whiplash and shock. The Indiana University School of Medicine doctor
prescribed further painkilling drugs, and ordered complete rest for the next
three days, in order to lay the basis for as quick and complete a recovery as
possible, and to prevent any long term or permanent effects from the

Oasis members Noel Gallagher, Jay Darlington and Andy Bell were
in a taxi that was involved in a head-on collision with another vehicle on
August 6 in Indianapolis. The three were taken to a hospital by ambulance,
