Nominees Announced For 2016 American Country Countdown Awards

LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — The 2016 American Country Countdown Awards has announced the list of nominees for 2016, with Luke Bryan leading the pack with seven nods, including artist of the year, and vocalist of the year.

Sam Hunt is close on his heels with five nominations, including picks for Artist of the Year and Breakthrough Male Artist. Thomas Rhett and Zac Brown Band picked up four nominatons each, while Florida Georgia Line has three.

The show will air live via Fox from the historic Forum in Los Angeles, making it the first country music awards show to air live from L.A. in more than 10 years. Announced performers for the event include Carrie Underwood, Florida Georgia Line, Thomas Rhett with additional announcements expected.
