Nederlander Theatres, Ticketmaster Offer Electronic Print-at-Home Ticketing

(CelebrityAccess MediaWire) –All nine of the Nederlander Organization’s Broadway theaters, through an arrangement with Ticketmaster, now provide its patrons with the ability to download and print their event tickets at home, when ordered over the phone or through Ticketmaster’s web site.

"Broadway and ticketFast make for a great co-starring line-up,” said Nick Scandalios, Nederlander executive vice president. “With approximately 3.5 million visitors to Nederlander's Broadway theatres every year, it is imperative that we continue to look for ways to add convenience to our patron's theatre-going experience. Ticketmaster's revolutionary delivery service ticketFast will save our patrons time and provide them with hassle-free entry to our Broadway shows."

Ticketmaster's ticketFast electronic delivery can be selected as the delivery method during an online or telephone ticket purchase. After the purchase is confirmed, event tickets are delivered immediately to the specified email account as an Adobe Acrobat file which can then be printed from any home or office printer. Tickets are scanned and authenticated at the theatres using a barcode that is unique to each ticketFast ticket.

The following Broadway theatres will now feature Ticketmaster's ticketFast print-at-home delivery service:

* Brooks Atkinson Theatre — 256 West 47th Street

* Gershwin Theatre — 222 West 51st Street

* Lunt-Fontanne Theatre — 205 West 46th Street

* Marquis Theatre — 1535 Broadway

* Minskoff Theatre — 200 West 45th Street

* Nederlander Theatre — 208 West 41st Street

* Neil Simon Theatre — 250 West 52nd Street

* Richard Rodgers Theatre — 226 West 46th Street

"ticketFast and Broadway are an optimum combination for fans as well as theatres," said Marla Hoicowitz, executive vice president, Ticketmaster East. "Many of the visitors to Broadway are also visitors to New York. Offering them the ability to plan theatre outings at the last minute or add an additional show to their itinerary with their tickets in hand in minutes, is a great convenience and resource. We are pleased to help Nederlander roll out this technology on Broadway and praise their innovative efforts." — Bob Grossweiner and Jane Cohen
