MockingJay Part 2 Number One At Box Office For Week Four

LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — “The Hunger Games Mockingjay Part 2” is enjoying its fourth and most likely last week at number one. The world is holding its breath, and purchasing advanced tickets, awaiting Star Wars episode 7 “The Force Awakens.” This after the first release Star Wars episode 4 over 30 years ago.

“We always talk about the proverbial calm before the storm as just words, but this is true,” Rentrak media analyst Paul Dergarabedian said, referring to the much-anticipated release of “The Force Awakens.” “I think a lot of people were sitting this out. When you think of all the people who’ve already made plans for next week, it’s like going to the same restaurant two nights in a row.”

While recent wide releases haven’t been able to excite moviegoers and live up to analyst expectations, Dergarabedian said niche limited releases have performed well.
