Mirage Promotions Debuts New Card System

DUBAI, UAE (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Dubai-based promoter Mirage Productions, has implemented a new system for allowing concert patrons to purchase items from vendors at events it stages. Mirage, who often provides concessions such as food and drink at events that it promotes had previously used paper vouchers but switched to the new system, which is based on a prepaid debit card called 'The Concertcard.'

The card is available for purchase at concerts or online from viceversacard.com, Mirage Promotions partner in the deal. The new card system will be the only way to purchase anything at the event, with the only place where an event attendee needing cash would be to refill the balance on the card.

The new card system was unveiled last month at a September Pink concert held at the Dubai Media City Amphitheatre and the launch was reportedly less than smooth.
