Minnelli Canceled Miami Dates

(CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — The Miami Herald reported that Liza Minnelli cancelled three shows in December, including a New Year’s Eve concert, due to her recent hospitalization.

Barton G. Weiss, owner of South Beach’s 1501 Barton G venue where Minnelli was slated to play, told the paper, “She told me, `I fell on my keister.'”

Fans who paid upwards of $250 to see the star perform will receive full refunds, however Weiss was unable to get insurance for the show due to Minnelli’s history. “We thought for sure she'd pull herself out and have a good performance and we'd kick off '05 in a great way, but we're moving on,” said Weiss. –by CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
