
Forging ahead with its development plans in the UK dance music market, Mean
Fiddler, promoter of such events as the Reading and Homeland festivals, has
acquired three nightclubs with the acquisition of club group Finlaw 279 in a £2m
($2.9 million) deal. Mean Fiddler will also assume Finlaw's £2.44 million ($3.5 million) debt. The clubs
are Media in Nottingham, Tunnel in Glasgow and Universe in Coatbridge,
Scotland. Finlaw's Harry Lambert will join Mean
Fiddler as a non-executive director.
