Madison Square Garden Announces Andrew Lustgarten As New President

NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess) – Today The Madison Square Garden Company (NYSE:MSG) announced Andrew Lustgarten as new company President. He has been with MSG since 2014 as Executive Vice President of corporate development and strategy. Lustgarten will report to MSG executive chairman and CEO James Dolan.

James Dolan stated:

Before MSG Andrew Lustgarten worked at the National Basketball Association as Special Assistant to the Commissioner and then became Senior Vice President, global strategy. There he helped negotiate major media deals and a collective bargaining agreement. As SVP of global strategy he was involved with such developments as a major investment in NBA China, an investment in FanDuel and the league's revenue sharing plan.

At MSG Lustgarten has played a diverse role as a member of the management team. He's helped diversify MSG's live offerings, with oversight of MSG's interests in the TAO Group, Boston Calling Events and Counter Logic Gaming. He played a key role in MSG's involvement with DraftKings and brought the first esports events to The Garden. He was also key in MGS's investment in Jaunt and NextVR.
