Listen.com Signs Licensing Agreement With Zomba

Listen.com has signed a licensing agreement with Zomba Recording Corporation, the world's leading independent music company. The agreement will immediately add tracks from artists on Zomba's record labels, including Jive Records, Silvertone Records, and Verity Records, to Listen.com's Rhapsody's digital music service. Artists like Britney Spears and 'N Sync can be heard through Rhapsody, which already offers a more extensive library of major and independent label music than any other legitimate online service.

"Zomba is committed to working with online services that offer music lovers high-quality, enjoyable, and easily-accessible ways to find and enjoy music online. Our agreement with Listen.com is further proof of this commitment," said Ivan Gavin, Executive Vice President, Finance and Commercial Operations, North America, Zomba Record Group. "Rhapsody offers our artists new opportunities to reach an even larger audience of music fans with their songs."

"We're excited to be working with Zomba, the world's most prominent independent music company," said Sean Ryan, president and chief executive officer, Listen.com. "Our agreement with Zomba extends the depth of our catalog in several important music genres, especially pop, Christian, and gospel. This agreement is particularly exciting because it moves us much closer to fulfilling our vision of offering access to the world's most comprehensive library of legally available music through Rhapsody."
