Learfield To Acquire Paciolan From Spectra


PLANO, TX (CelebrityAccess) — College sports marketing company Learfield announced the acquisition of ticketing and fan engagement specialists formerly known as Paciolan from Comcast Spectacor. When the transaction is completed, the former Spectra will once again be known as Paciolan.

Kim Damron will continue to lead Paciolan in her role as President. Dave Butler will remain as CEO of Paciolan and Founder Jane Kleinberger will also remain with the firm. Terms of the transaction are confidential and the sale is expected to close in roughly a month, Learfield said.

Founded in 1980 by by Jane Kleinberger, Paciolan has a deep footprint in the world of sports, servicing more than 120 collegiate athletic departments and more than 100 professional sports and arenas clients. Comcast-Specator acquired the company in 2010 for an undisclosed amount.
