LeAnn Rimes Loses In Court

At a March 16 hearing, Davidson County Chancellor Irvin Kilcrease refused to let LeAnn Rimes out of her recording contract with Curb Records, which was approved by her and her parents when she was 12 years old.

Rimes is also suing her father/ex-manager Wilbur Rimes in their home state of Texas over another issue. Rimes alleges her father and a former co-manager cheated her of $7 million in earnings.

In a statement issued last month, Rimes apologized to fans for her latest album, saying it was produced by Curb without her ''creative input.''
