MIAMI (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — While no official announcement has been made, its not looking good for fans hoping to see a 2010 a return of the south Florida festival Langerado.
Although Internet rumors had suggested that the festival may return to the Everglades in 2010, festival co-founder Ethan Schwartz revealed in an interview with Metromix Florida's Dan Sweeney that the festival is "probably" gone for good.
The festival had a tough year in 2009 and after organizers moved the event from the Everglades to Miami, the event was subsequently cancelled. 2009 would have marked the 7th return of the festival.
While announcing the cancellation, Schwartz said, "Unfortunately, during these difficult economic times, and facing a first year in a new venue, it's become apparent that we cannot execute a production that lives up to the high standards of our past events. Putting Langerado on hold was the toughest decision we have ever had to make. We are very grateful for the support of the greater-Miami community and the music community during this difficult time." – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
