Lady Gaga Scraps Purdue Concert


WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Lady Gaga canceled a concert in Indiana, mere hours before she was set to take the stage, claiming that she had collapsed due to dehydration and exhaustion.

Lady Gaga, AKA Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanottam wrote to her fans on Twitter about the cancellation: "Can't apologise enough for how sorry I am," Lady G twitted "An hour before the show I was feeling dizzy and having trouble breathing."

"My stage has complicated mechanical elements," she tweeted "Everyone was concerned I'd be in danger during the 2hr show, since I had passed out earlier. "

"I have performed with the flu, a cold [and] strep throat," she went on. "I would never cancel a show just based on discomfort.

"I hope you can forgive me. I love my little monsters more than anything, you are everything to me."

The show, originally set for Purdue University on Jan. 14th has been rescheduled to take place on January 26th. Lady Gaga's next gig set for Saturday in Atlantic City is still on the schedule as of today. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
