Lady Gaga Changes Touring Partners More Than Her Costumes

NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Lady Gaga is great at getting the world’s attention. Proof is her being the most Googled image of 2009. Unfortunately she does not seem to have the same luck choosing hip hop artists to tour with.

Kid Cudi was supposed to be the flamboyant artist’s opener for her Monster's Ball tour. According to the Philadelphia Examiner, Kid Cudi’s management issued this statement "Kid Cudi has decided to take an early leave of absence from Lady Gaga's Monster Ball tour, in order to balance his schedule surrounding the recording of his next album and acting commitments. Cudi does not want to disappoint his fans and will move forward with his individual show dates in December and throughout the month of January."

Kid Cudi is the second touring act to depart the Gaga tour. Kanye West was the original hip hop artist to tour with Lady Gaga, but after extremely bizarre behavior at the VMA’s, during Taylor Swift’s Video win, he dropped out. Just last week Kid Cudi punched a fan who tossed his wallet at the artist twice during his show, the video of the encounter made it to YouTube. This is more likely the reason Kid Cudi is out of the tour according to the Examiner.

Lady Gaga is now scheduled to tour with "Whatcha Say" crooner Jason Derulo.
