Two-time Oscar-winning documentarian Barbara Kopple's Woodstock music festival film, now titled "My Generation," debuts on the Encore cable network August 17. Kopple originally filmed the 1994 Woodstock festival, but when PolyGram pulled its post-production financing, the film floundered. She also filmed the 1999 festival and to enhance the concept, even has some footage from the original 1969 festival to show similarities and differences between the two. The film runs 1 hour, 43 minutes.
