John Fleckenstein and Joe Riccitelli Named Co-Presidents At RCA


NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess) — RCA Records on Friday announced that veteran label execs John Fleckenstein and Joe Riccitelli have been named as co-presidents at the label.

In their new billet, the two will oversee the day-to-day operations of the label with the notable exclusion of A&R. Both Mssrs. Fleckenstein and Riccitelli will continue to be based in the company’s New York headquarters and report to Chairman and CEO Peter Edge.

Mr. Fleckenstein joined RCA in 2015 as Executive Vice President and since he signed on, has overseen marketing campaigns for newly signed artists such as Khalid, SZA, Bryson Tiller, and more as well as more established artists including Foo Fighters, P!NK, Pentatonix, Justin Timberlake, WALK THE MOON, among others.

Prior to joining the RCA team, Mr. Fleckenstein was the EVP of International for Sony Music and his C.v. also includes stints at Arista Records, Jive Records. He began his career as an intern at Columbia Records.

Mr. Riccitelli joined RCA when the storied label re-launched in 2011, as an Executive Vice President of Promotion. In 2013, he was promoted to EVP/GM of RCA, where his oversight grew to include the Music Licensing and Brand Partnership departments, as well as all aspects of pop promotion for the label.

Prior to RCA Records, Mr. Riccitelli was EVP Promotion, Jive Records since 1999 where he was instrumental in the promotion plans and launch of campaigns for artists such as the Backstreet Boys, Britney Spears, *NSYNC, Chris Brown and many more. He has also held positions at Island Records and PolyGram Records where he began his career in 1985 as an advertising clerk.
