Joel Settles Royalty Lawsuit

NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Billy Joel has settled a lawsuit with a former drummer who had accused the singer and his label, Sony Music, of failing to pay royalties on records the drummer had performed on.

The drummer, Liberty Devitto had worked with Joel for 20 years until 2005, performing on several albums including "The Stranger."

According to the BBC, Devitto's lawyer confirmed that a settlement had been reached in the lawsuit but declined to elaborate on details of the settlement.
