Jay-Z Rumored To Be In Talks With Samsung

NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Rapper and music mogul Jay-Z is reported to be close to sealing a $20 million dollar deal with South Korean tech giant Samsung.

According to the New York Post's Page Six, the deal would see Jay-Z partner with Samsung on a variety of projects related to artists signed to his Roc Nation label.

"The eight-figure deal will be inked in the next few weeks, and is the biggest of its kind," Page Six said, quoting an unnamed source. "You can speculate that he'll want to develop some kind of new music-streaming service to promote his acts and music on mobile devices."

Samsung already operates a subscription-based streaming music service, Music Hub, and has been trying to raise the profile and mobile market penetration of the service. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writes
