Jackson’s ‘Unbreakable’ Has Cracked

BEVERLY HILL, CA (CelebrityAccess) — Janet Jackson has had to postpone her ‘Unbreakable’ tour. Her ‘Unbreakable’ album became her seventh number 1 hit in October when it topped the Billboard 200 chart. Miss Jackson is one of three elite artists to break the number one spot in each of the past four decades, Barbara Streisand and The Boss being the other two.

As both an ongoing tweet and a message on her website, Janet Jackson writes to her fans… “Hey you guys… Happy Holidays to each and every one of you. I need you to know, I learned today, from my doctors that I must have surgery soon. It breaks my heart to tell you that I am forced to postpone the Unbreakable Tour until the spring.

Every date will be rescheduled. Please hold on to your tickets. They will be honored in a special way when the new schedule is announced. Please pray for me, my family and our entire company during this difficult time. There will be no further comment. I love you all so much and am ever grateful for your understanding and your love. Gon' b alright.”

This announcement comes after two dates were also cancelled in October to rest the 49 year olds vocal chords. She took to twitter stating 'Hey you guys, I must rest my vocal chords. Doctor's orders… Will be rescheduling Salt Lake and Denver.'

She had already pulled two dates in Las Vegas earlier that month due to ‘Vocal Strain”

Jackson and her team have not announced dates or given specifics but it looks as if they are looking to re-launch the tour dates in the Spring.
