Jackson Movie On Track For Huge Opening

LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Michael Jackson's "This is It" is already posting some record-breaking sales firgures ahead of its release and AEG is predicting that the film will make "$250 million in its first 5 days".

According to Deadline Hollywood's Nikki Finke, the film has been moving tickets and is already the topping sales at online movie ticket seller Fandango, two weeks ahead of its release.

"At this point in the film’s sales cycle, This Is It is outpacing Harry Potter And The Half Blood Prince, Transformers 2: Revenge Of The Fallen, and Star Trek as one of our top pre-sellers of the year." Fandango COO Rick Butler told Finke.
