LONDON (CelebrityAccess) — The three-day Wireless Festival is returning to London’s Finsbury Park from July 6th – 8th with headlining performances slated from rappers J. Cole, DJ Khaled and Friends, and London-based grime artist Stormzy.
Now in its thirteenth year, Wireless Festival has cemented itself as the home of urban music and this year’s lineup includes ae Sremmurd, PARTYNEXTDOOR, Giggs, Lil Uzi Vert, Rick Ross, Migos, GoldLink, French Montana, 6LACK, Ski Mask The Slump God and Smokepurpp.
Rapper J. Cole is set for the Friday night headlining slot. Grime artist Stormzy will take the main stage on Saturday night and DJ Khaled will close Wireless on Sunday joined by an unannounced host of guests and collaborators for his first performance outside of the U.S. and his only scheduled UK show for this year.
The 2017 edition of the festival sold out in record time, with fest producer Festival Republic’s Melvin Benn attributing the turnout last year to the festival’s hip-hop-infused lineup.
“It’s no surprise that tickets to Wireless have sold out in record-breaking time, with the phenomenal line-up this year,” Benn said of the 2017 festival.
“Grime and urban music is no longer an ‘underground sound’ but instead the sound of the moment, and more importantly – the sound of London.”
