ItsAboutMusic.com Offers Artists Range of Online Services

(CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Artists affiliated with ItsAboutMusic.com are able to draw upon a list of services that help to spread the word about their music. No other OMD does anything to promote the artists’ music. Artists on the label’s roster can tap into the plethora of offerings provided. In addition to its own digital download store, ItsAboutMusic.com submits its artists for digital distribution to more than 50 paid download sites all over the world (among them: Apple iTunes Store, Napster, Rhapsody, MusicMatch, Liquid Audio, MusicNow, MusicNet, and many others). Also, the label submits its artists to the eight most popular Peer-to-Peer sites for download. The songs are encoded so that they cannot be copied or burned until they are paid for.

The label provides CD-on-Demand manufacturing for its artists, eliminating the need to manufacture any more discs than are actually sold via the site’s store. ItsAboutMusic.com offers CD sales fulfillment for artists that have already pressed their own CDs as well. The label will soon offer access to music research services and has a publicist available to promote artists in addition to the label itself.

ItsAboutMusic.com is run by Dean Sciarra, who has worked in the music business since the 70’s in many capacities: music journalist, editor of the FM Radio trade publication Walrus, artist manager and head of independent record company 7Records.
