International Songwriting Competition Reopens 2012 Entries For Love Songs

NASHVILLE, TN (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — The International Songwriting Competition (ISC) has reopened 2012 entries as a part of a special promotional deal with Sonicbids and ringtone/cellular media website Myxer.com.

Songwriters who enter their love songs will be featured on ISC's 'Sing Your Heart Out' Valentine's Day channel on Myxer.com for two weeks in February, 2013; all songs submitted will also be entered into the regular competition.

ISC, which was first established in 2002, awards more than awards more than $150,000 in cash and prizes to amateur and professional songwriters around the globe. This year, the ISC has doubled the amount of merch on offer for the grand prize winner to over $40,000 in prizes, plus $25,000 in (US) cash. Included in the prize haul are a Lowden acoustic guitar, Marshall full-stack amp, studio package from Solid State Logic (SSL) among other things.

Reward for winning the ISC can be less tangible as well, and many previous winners have gone on to sign record and publishing deals. Past winners include Gotye and Kimbra who charted for eight consecutive weeks on Billboard's Hot 100 chart with their hit song, "Somebody That I Used To Know."

Love songs can be submitted here until Dec. 3rd. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
