Infamous Stringdusters Launch A New Label

NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess) — Grammy-nominated bluegrass masters the Infamous Stringdusters announced that they’ve launched a new label Tape Time Records and signed fellow bluegrass outfit Horseshoes & Hand Grenades as the label’s first new artist.

“It’s a natural progression for us,” says Jeremy Garrett, fiddler for The Infamous Stringdusters. “We’ve been with different labels and had an array of experiences, and just thought that a record company by and for musicians is the way to go. We want to put out the best music possible–of ours and our friends–and do it with full control over all aspects.”

The Wisconsin-based Horseshoes & Hand Grenades — consisting of David C. Lynch (harmonica, accordion, spoons, vocals), Collin Mettelka (fiddle, mandolin, vocals), Russell Pedersen (banjo, fiddle, vocals), Adam Greuel (guitar, dobro, vocals), and Samual Odin (bass)–will release their 4th studio album “The Ode” via Tape Time Records in mid-February with the new single “Steer True” available February 2.

Meanwhile, the Stringdusters are taking a couple of days off of their “Across The Great Divide” North American run to head to New York City for the Grammys. The band is nominated for “Best Bluegrass Album” for their 2017 release “Laws Of Gravity.”
