ILMC Kicks Off With Michael Rapino

LONDON (CelebrityAccess) — ILMC kicks off on Friday March 4th with their main opening session, The Open Forum: The bosses level. And they announced that Live Nation Entertainment president and CEO Michael Rapino will be joining the meeting for a unique Q&A. Michael served as president and CEO of Clear Channel Music before taking the helm of Live Nation when it was formed in 2005. He’s since been credited with many of the largest tours, and as the most influential figure in the live music business, it will be a session to remember.

For those on site before The Open Forum (more details on which will be announced shortly) there’s the New Delegates’ Orientation for ILMC first timers, while Google executives are on hand to present our first workshop, Selling tickets with Google & YouTube.

Performance Royalties: Shows, songs and settlements looks at collection societies, rates and rebates, while The Dance Club: The beat goes on?, discusses the EDM scene in light of recent corporate news. Better Brand Partnerships highlights the most innovative brand activations of the last 12 months, and Festival Forum: Open space invaders considers escalating artist fees and the latest trends in the sector.

Market Focus: Australia travels Down Under to discover more about this vibrant music market, while the workshop A Greener Live promises a suite of resources and tips for going green. Friday's finale is The Digital Audience: Crossing streams, which will be looking at the impact of new digital lives on the analogue live music business.
