House Of Blues Promotes Kaczorowski And Berle

(CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Greg Trojan, CEO of House of Blues Entertainment, has made two senior management promotions that will strengthen the company's position to meet its aggressive growth plans. The company recently announced the completion of a $110 million recapitalization transaction and is embarking on a growth strategy to increase the House of Blues brand throughout North American and International markets.

Joe Kaczorowski, who has been the company's CFO since 1996, has been promoted to president and will be responsible for leading the company's expansion strategy, as well as continue to head House of Blues' legal, finance, human resources and technology departments.

Dolf Berle has been named COO of HOB Entertainment, Inc. Berle's responsibilities are expanding to include amphitheatre operations in addition to his current club responsibilities.

Alex Hodges will continue to lead the company's talent buying function with Kevin Morrow directing the company's touring business and club level buying, and Jack Gannon spearheading the field marketing and public relations organization.

"These changes reflect our focus on growth and maximizing our performance in developing markets," said Trojan. "Fans, performing artists and House of Blues all benefit by the coordination of our concert activities across all size venues in a given market."

House of Blues has recently entered into several key strategic booking alliances, including Sunset Station, San Antonio, TX; The Trocadero, Philadelphia, PA; and three Paramount Parks Amphitheatres, extending the reach of the brand into new markets. This is in addition to planned new club openings, already under construction, in Cleveland and San Diego.

House of Blues is also promoting key summer tours and festivals, including the Maybelline Chicks with Attitude Tour featuring Liz Phair, The Cardigans, Charlotte Martin, and Katy Rose; Verizon Tour featuring Jet; Coors Latin Tour featuring Ozomatli, Kinky, and Plasitna Mosh; and the Doheny Music Festival in Dana Point, CA. –Bob Grossweiner and Jane Cohen
