HBO Options "The Comic"

At the recent U.S. Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen, now in its seventh year, it was an overflow crowd at "The Comic," written by Mark Schiff, and starring Larry Miller.

The play, about an aging stand-up comic facing the end of his career, was such a hit, it was optioned by HBO and is playing April 3-5 at the HBO/Warner Bros. workspace, Melrose Theater in Los Angeles. Miller is repped by Geary Rindels.
